Cristo Rock 5th Edition Launch Concert Party

The launch concert party for the 5th edition of Cristo Rock will be held on Friday 11 September from 20:30 at La Bowie in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. This is an opportunity to discover new musical acts and get warmed up for the festival with two live bands.

The event will feature performances by:

• Fear of Ripley: With a sound that fuses alternative metal, modern metal, post-rock, and experimental electronic textures, this band creates intense, atmospheric, and emotionally profound soundscapes. Their style combines dense and ambient guitars, electronic programming, and progressive dynamics, offering an experience that oscillates between controlled aggression and melodic introspection.

• Las Arañas del Neptuno: This Tenerife-based surf-instro rock group combines classic, reverb-laden surf guitar with bold, melodic arrangements. Their sound is influenced by Omar Khorshid, The Nebulas, The Ventures, and the film compositions of Ennio Morricone, creating a style that blends the energy of traditional surf with atmospheric, instrumental soundtrack rock. The group consists of three musicians who merge their diverse backgrounds into a cohesive, cinematic offering.

The event is free with an invitation. The first 50 tickets will be distributed online (one per person and personalised) via Canaryticket. The remaining 50 tickets will be distributed at the door on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the concert.
