The Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife (Tenerife Symphony Orchestra) kicks off its 2026-2027 season, titled «Libertad o destino» (Freedom or Destiny), with one of the symphonic repertoire's masterworks: Symphony No. 2, 'Resurrection', by Gustav Mahler. This monumental composition is a musical journey that explores profound existential questions, encompassing universal themes such as death, loss, memory, final judgment, hope, and the constant possibility of redemption and a new beginning.
This cultural event will take place at the prestigious Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín, an unparalleled setting to experience the grandeur of Mahler. There will be two opportunities to attend this exceptional performance, both starting at the same time:
