Fiestas in Honour of the Santísimo Cristo de La Laguna 2026

San Cristóbal de La Laguna is preparing for a particularly significant edition of the Fiestas in Honour of the Santísimo Cristo de La Laguna. This year, the celebration takes on a historic character as it marks one hundred years since the Town Council took over the organisation of the popular events of these deeply rooted festivities, integral to La Laguna's identity.
The extensive programme, running from 3 to 21 September, brings together over fifty events and activities across cultural, musical, popular, sports, and religious themes. The Plaza del Cristo de La Laguna will be the epicentre of the activity, which will include:
- Concerts and festivals for all tastes
- Children's activities designed for the little ones
- Sports events
- Many more surprises, designed for all ages and audiences.
This programme complements the traditional religious ceremonies and the special atmosphere that defines one of the island's most emblematic celebrations.
