San Bartolomé Festivities in Tejina

The charming village of Tejina, in the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, once again celebrates its traditional festivities in honour of San Bartolomé. These much-anticipated celebrations, combining cultural, popular, and religious events, will fill the village with tradition, music, and gatherings from 31 July to 6 September.
The extensive programme of events includes some of the most emblematic and highly anticipated gatherings for locals and visitors, with public and free admission:
- Verbena de la Pamela: 15 August
- Cabalgata de Carrozas: 28 August
- Traditional Firework Display: 29 August
- Entrada de los Corazones and the Batalla de Flores: 30 August
- Descuelgue de los Corazones: 31 August
- Martes de Parrandas: 1 September
Additionally, this year the image of San Bartolomé will once again process through the neighbourhoods of Calle de Arriba, Calle de Abajo, and El Pico, strengthening community ties in one of the most representative festivities in the municipality of La Laguna.
