About the plan
The Fiestas del Amparo y Santo Domingo de Guzmán 2026 are celebrated in the picturesque neighbourhood of El Amparo, in Icod de los Vinos. The extensive programme blends rich local tradition, community participation, and popular celebrations, offering an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and festive atmosphere of northern Tenerife.
These annual festivities run from 25 July to 10 August, providing residents and visitors with a wide variety of activities for all ages, including:
- Religious events: masses, rosaries, novenas, and solemn processions in honour of the patron saints.
- Tradition and culture: the opening proclamation, a cultural rally, the traditional romería (pilgrimage), and the flag handover ceremony.
- Leisure and entertainment: ambient music, spectacular fireworks, humour and comedy shows, children's games for the little ones, and various musical performances.
