The Santa Rosa de Lima Festivities are once again being held in the neighbourhood of Guamasa, which belongs to the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. For over a week, the community comes together to honour its patron saint with a full programme of activities combining tradition, culture and devotion.
The celebrations, taking place from 23 to 30 August 2026, offer a variety of events for all ages. The programme includes:
- Masses and religious services in honour of Santa Rosa de Lima
- Outdoor or community cinema screenings
- Interesting talks on local history and culture
- Various musical performances to liven up the festive evenings
- The traditional procession of devotion, where the image of the Saint is carried through the neighbourhood streets in an emotional route
