The municipality of El Rosario is gearing up for a grand celebration of its Patron Saint Festivities in honour of Our Lady of La Esperanza in 2026. This year, part of the programme will be specially dedicated to the island of La Gomera, in a gesture of solidarity and recognition.
These hugely popular festivities, running from 15 July to 15 August 2026, offer a full programme of activities for all ages and tastes. Highlights include the 50th traditional 'romería' (pilgrimage) and its 'bailes de magos' (folk dances), which will fill the streets with tradition and folklore. In addition, there will be a wide variety of shows and entertainment, including:
- Galas and festivals
- Children's activities for the little ones
- Comedy sessions and guaranteed laughter
- Concerts with music for all audiences
All main events will take place in La Esperanza, the heart of these celebrations, and admission is free, making it easy for both locals and visitors to fully enjoy the joy and festive spirit.
