The municipality of Garachico is preparing to celebrate its traditional Baile de Magos on 16 August, an unmissable event as part of the San Roque festivities. Considered one of the most charming Baile de Magos events in northern Tenerife, this event takes place in the picturesque historic centre of Garachico, a unique setting with the impressive Roque de Garachico and the sea as a backdrop.
Attendees are invited to dress in traditional Canarian costume to participate in a parade through the town's streets, where the festive atmosphere will be enlivened by parrandas (folk music groups) and folkloric groups providing music and dance.
