The Santiago del Teide Town Council is opening registrations for the 27th edition of the Camino de Santiago, Tenerife's Jacobean Route 2026, an experience that combines tradition, adventure, and the island's cultural heritage. This annual event is scheduled for 18 and 19 July 2026.
The route will begin on 18 July at 08:00 from the Parroquia de Santiago Apóstol de Los Realejos. Pilgrims will follow a spiritual and scenic path, culminating the following day with their arrival at the Ermita del Apóstol Santiago in Valle de Arriba, and subsequent transfer to the Iglesia Matriz in Santiago del Teide, where an emotional pilgrims' mass will be held.

To facilitate participation, free transport will be offered to registered participants, with designated stops to reach the starting point at the Parroquia de Santiago de Los Realejos, as well as for the return to their places of origin at the end of the activity.
