29th Día de la Trilla

The 29th Día de la Trilla is a traditional event held in San José de los Llanos, a village in the municipality of El Tanque, to highlight and recall the ancient agricultural practices of the Canary Islands. This ethnographic event, designed for all ages, combines the history, livestock farming, and agriculture of the Canary Islands in an entertaining and educational format. Admission is free, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in this cultural experience.

Activities will begin from 11:00 AM, and the programme includes:

• Live demonstrations of threshing techniques and other traditional agricultural tasks
• Themed exhibitions on local livestock farming and agriculture
• Concerts of folk music and other performances
• Various displays of Canarian traditions that highlight the island's identity
