About the plan
The 5th Cuerpos de Orgullo Festival 2026 is a celebration of body diversity through art, music, and community. This fifth edition is established as the first music, market, and training festival in the Canary Islands specifically designed to highlight body diversity and actively combat fatphobia. An inclusive and essential event taking place in the municipalities of Tegueste and El Sauzal.
The festival offers a varied and enriching programme, with free admission, which includes:
- An art exhibition titled "Five Years of Proud Bodies", reviewing the festival's journey and impact throughout its editions.
- The presentation of the 2nd Itziar Castro Awards, recognising work in favour of diversity, on 25 September.
- A main international festival with various performances and activities on 26 September.
Activities will be split between Teatro El Sauzal and Plaza del Príncipe.
