Canarian Rosette Workshop
About the plan
Discover the deep-rooted tradition of the Canarian rosette in a hands-on workshop taking place on Sunday 27 September at the Vilaflor Municipal Library. From 12:00 to 13:30, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to weave this beautiful lace piece, an artisan expression that is an essential part of the cultural identity of the Canary Islands, passed down from generation to generation. The workshop will be led by expert Rosa María Dorta.
The registration fee is €15, and this amount includes all necessary materials to create your rosette, plus refreshments with water, almonds, and local pastries. Places are limited, so early booking is highly recommended to secure your participation.
This cultural event is supported by various entities and companies, including the Government of the Canary Islands (through PROMOTUR Turismo Islas Canarias and the Instituto Canario de Desarrollo Cultural), Dinamiza Rural, Vilaflor de Chasna Town Council, Cabildo de Tenerife, Juventud Cabildo de Tenerife, Cerveza El Águila, The Collective Way, Canary Wine, Ron Guajiro, Incabe and Ron Arehucas.
