About the plan
The 2026 European Mobility Week will take place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for one week, from 14 to 20 September. This annual event's main goal is to raise public awareness about the importance of sustainable mobility and its benefits for the environment, health, and quality of life in cities.
Under the central theme “Mobility for All”, the 2026 edition will place special emphasis on the need to ensure inclusive, equitable, and accessible mobility for all citizens. A diverse programme is expected, including informative activities, talks, workshops, and practical demonstrations to encourage the use of alternative transport methods and promote the design of urban environments that are more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly.
