U18 Women's Water Polo World Championship
About the plan
Puerto de la Cruz becomes the world capital of youth water polo as it hosts the U18 Women's Junior Water Polo World Championship. This prestigious event, organised by World Aquatics, will take place from 16 to 23 August at the Centro de Deportes Acuáticos de Tenerife (CDAT). It's a unique opportunity to see the future stars of the sport in action.
The championship will bring together nearly 400 water polo players from approximately twenty national teams. Among the participating countries are powerhouses such as:
- Spain (the current champions)
- Greece
- Hungary
- United States
- Australia
- Italy
- Netherlands
The CDAT facility, with a 50-metre Olympic swimming pool, is ready to welcome spectators who want to enjoy this top-level sporting spectacle. Admission is free, allowing all fans to experience the excitement of the competition live.
