The 2026-2027 season of the Sinfónica de Tenerife, titled 'Libertad o destino' (Freedom or Destiny), kicks off with one of the masterpieces of the classical repertoire: Symphony No. 2, 'Resurrection', by the master Gustav Mahler. This monumental concert will be performed at the iconic Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín.
Mahler's work, which seems to embrace all the great questions of human existence, explores profound themes such as death, loss, memory, the Last Judgement, hope, and the constant possibility of a new beginning.
