La Konkista de Canarias

Delirium Teatro presents its latest production, ‘La Konkista de Canarias’, an ingenious adventure comedy that revisits the historical Conquest of the Canary Islands. The play, which combines humour and historical accuracy, will be performed in the Municipality of Tacoronte for two unique shows.

This stage production focuses on a theatre company's clumsy attempts to faithfully portray history, leading to amusing interruptions and constant satire. Through epic battles, betrayals, and acts of heroism, the piece invites reflection on the violence and concepts of superiority inherent in any human conflict, all presented with a fresh and comical perspective.

Performances will take place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September, both at 20:00. Admission is free, but online pre-booking is required.
