About the plan
The workshop "Hacking Hegemony" offers two intense days dedicated to critical reflection and collective artistic creation. This event is part of the 8th edition of HER Feminist Festival and will be facilitated by the re_creo_ collective at Phenomenal Studio in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Admission is free, offering a unique opportunity to participate in this transformative gathering.
The first part of the workshop will focus on an in-depth conversation about the biases and power dynamics present in algorithmic systems, approaching them from a feminist and decolonial perspective. It will be a space for critical analysis and debate.
The second day will translate these reflections into practice, inviting participants to create a collaborative art installation. The aim is to imagine and materialise forms of alternative artificial intelligence, more inclusive and equitable, fostering a different vision of technology.
