Cuerpos de Orgullo – Fifth Festival Against Aesthetic Violence and Fatphobia
About the plan
The fifth edition of the Cuerpos de Orgullo festival arrives in El Sauzal, northern Tenerife, establishing itself as the first music, market, and training festival in the Canary Islands dedicated to raising awareness of body diversity. This pioneering event's main goal is to actively fight against fatphobia and aesthetic violence, promoting acceptance and respect for all non-conforming bodies.
The festival runs over several days, from Friday 18 to Wednesday 30 September 2026, offering a wide and varied programme that combines:
- Live music with diverse artistic performances
- A market featuring local, artisanal, and creative options
- Training and awareness sessions, including talks, workshops, and activities to foster dialogue about body diversity and non-conforming body activism.
Don't miss out on these workshops and training sessions in El Sauzal, a festival running from 18 to 30 September, and a key cultural initiative in northern Tenerife.
