Cuerpos de Orgullo – 5th Festival Against Aesthetic Violence and Fatphobia

The fifth edition of the Cuerpos de Orgullo Festival comes to El Sauzal, a pioneering event in the Canary Islands, created to give visibility to body diversity and non-conforming bodies. This festival, established as a space to fight fatphobia and aesthetic violence, combines music, a diverse product and services market, and training activities.

The festival will take place over several days with various programmed activities:

• From Friday 18 to Sunday 27 September: You can visit the art exhibition 'Cinco años de Cuerpos Orgullosos' at the El Sauzal exhibition hall.

• Friday 25 September at 20:00: Celebration of the 2nd Edition of the Itziar Castro Awards, a recognition of body activism. Entry is by invitation and will take place at the Teatro El Sauzal.

• Saturday 26 September from 11:00 to 23:30: Main day of the 5th International Cuerpos de Orgullo Festival 2026 in the Plaza del Príncipe in El Sauzal, with music, market, and various training proposals.
