About the plan
The Bodies of Pride Festival celebrates its fifth edition in El Sauzal, establishing itself as the first music, market, and training festival in the Canary Islands dedicated to showcasing body diversity and dissident bodies. This event is a key platform in the fight against fatphobia and aesthetic violence, offering an inclusive and educational space.
The festival spans several days, with a diverse programme of activities:
- From Friday 18 to Sunday 27 September: You can visit the art exhibition 'Five Years of Proud Bodies' in the exhibition hall of El Sauzal.
- On Friday 25 September at 20:00: The 2nd Itziar Castro Awards will take place, recognising body activism. Entry is by invitation at the Teatro El Sauzal.
- On Saturday 26 September, from 11:00 to 23:30: The 5th International Bodies of Pride Festival 2026 will be held in Plaza del Príncipe in El Sauzal, featuring music, a market, and more training activities.
