Seniors' Activity: Let's Go to the Beach! 2026

El Sauzal Town Council's Department for Seniors is organising the '¡Nos vamos a la playa!' (Let's Go to the Beach!) activity for summer 2026, a programme specifically designed for the municipality's senior community, i.e., people over 60 years of age. This initiative offers the opportunity to enjoy organised trips to Puertito de Güímar during July and August, with transport provided by 55-seater 'guaguas' managed by the Town Council itself.

The activity is structured into two groups with different schedules to facilitate participation:

• Town Centre Group: Trips will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and August, from 09:00 to 13:00.
• Ravelo Group: Trips will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays in July and August, from 14:45 to 19:00.

Registration for this activity opened on 18 May and will remain open until all places are filled. It is important to note that preference will be given to residents of El Sauzal over 60 years of age. For other interested parties, a waiting list will be created, and they will be notified in order of registration if places become available.

The monthly participation fees are as follows:

• For one day a week: €19 for residents and €27 for non-residents.
• For two days a week: €30 for residents and €45 for non-residents.
